About the role:

Join our dynamic team, where you’ll contribute to an innovative all-in-one platform for running restaurants, cafes, and shops. You will work on exciting features such as a reservation widget, QR ordering, gift cards and business intelligence visualizations. You will visit customers and discover which features make the most impact to identify how you can deliver the most value possible.

On the frontend, our tech stack includes Vue, Typescript, ChartJS, FabricJS and Pinia. On the server our tech stack includes Kotlin, Ktor, Postgres and Kafka.

About you:

• You are an experienced frontend engineer. You have at least 5 years of experience with frontend frameworks like React and Vue. You see TypeScript as a non-negotiable part of the stack of any large frontend application.
• You are an experienced backend engineer. You have at least 5 years of experience doing backend development work, like building RESTful APIs and working with databases. Experience with Java/Kotlin is like a Swiss flag: a big plus.
• You are passionate about great UX. You are opinionated about product design and can get started without relying on a designer to design every last detail of a feature. You enjoy fiddling with animations until it feels perfect.
• You are self-driven and entrepreneurial. You are happy working with limited context and can make decisions without the full picture. You should be able to identify opportunities and clarify risks while working on multiple complex projects in different functional areas. You aren’t guided by process and understand that delivering value to customers is the primary measure of success.
• You have experience in B2B and startup environments, and understand what it takes to build and grow products for complex businesses. You are able to navigate the fast-paced environment of a startup. For Tebi’s guiding company principles, please see https://tebi.com/en/about/
• You are a strong independent communicator. You know how to articulate goals and direction clearly through constructive dialogue and collaboration in English. You drive innovation through open dialogue and work with the team to increase the pace of work, quality of the product and value to the customer.

• This is an on-site position in Amsterdam. We are only looking for candidates based in the Netherlands that will come to the office at least 3 days per week.
